Email to Fax and Fax to Email

Yes it can be done: There are a number of companies and organisations offering an e-mail to fax service, some charge for the service - some do it for nothing. Yes that is not a mistake, you can send an email to a fax machine for free. Ok, not everywhere is covered, but why not give it a try: set up an email address in the format where Any_Name is the name of the person who is to receive the fax the 44 indicates a UK fax number and is followed by the actual number of the fax machine. Please note that spaces are not allowed - you can use an underscore('_') instead.
An advert on the bottom of the cover page pays for the fax delivery. You are only allowed to send a limited number of faxes in any one hour - so if you want to send spam - forget it!
